    Background:
Born in Japan, Yoshie’s early life was surrounded by music, playing piano and saxophone. This naturally opened a path into exploring healing through sound, colour, and subtle energy.

With nearly 20 years of experience, she is a Japanese Usui Reiki Master and Aura-Soma® practitioner and teacher, offering both courses and private sessions. Since moving to Singapore in 2001, she has devoted her work to supporting others in reconnecting with themselves through presence, awareness, and gentle inner alignment.

Her sessions are shaped by an intuitive blend of sound, colour, and energy, creating a nurturing and restorative space where participants can slow down, soften, and return to their own natural rhythm.

What first drew you to sound therapy, meditation, or contemplative practice?

I was drawn to the gentle power of sound, colour, and light to touch the heart and soul. Through these practices, I found a way to connect more deeply with inner guidance and the subtle energies within and around us.

Why does creating space for rest and awareness feel important today?

Life moves quickly, and we often forget to pause. Creating space for rest allows us to reconnect with ourselves, restore balance, and open to a deeper sense of ease, clarity, and inner light.

What do you invite participants to experience during your sessions?

I invite participants to feel safe, supported, and present. Through sound, light, and colour, a space gently opens where the body can relax, the mind can soften, and a natural sense of harmony and connection can emerge.

What does “a space to simply be” mean to you?

It is a quiet and loving space where you can arrive just as you are—without expectation or judgment. A space to breathe, feel, and gently reconnect with your inner self.

How do you cultivate moments of presence or rest in your daily life?

I slow down through sound, meditation, and an awareness of colour and feeling. Even simple moments—connecting with a crystal, a Pomander, or a piece of music—help me return to my heart and the joy of simply being.
