    Background:

Tamsin Bradshaw is a life and somatic coach, and a practitioner of shamanic energy medicine. Her training includes the Aliveness Method®, the Somatic Healing Institute, RocheMartin’s Emotional Intelligence programme, the Four Winds Light Body School, and the Temple of Shamanic Magick.

Her work begins with listening. Not the surface level kind, but a deeper, attuned presence that senses what sits beneath words, in tone, in subtle shifts, and in patterns that quietly repeat.
Drawing on somatic awareness, emotional intelligence, and shamanic practice, she works with the body as the place where experience is held and understood. Rather than offering solutions, she creates a space where insight can emerge from within, often in moments of quiet recognition.

Her approach is gentle yet precise. A space where what has been held can be felt, where clarity arises naturally, and where individuals reconnect with their own inner wisdom, moving forward with greater ease, confidence, and a deeper sense of self.

What first drew you to sound therapy, meditation, or contemplative practice?

I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of accessing different states of consciousness. My school organised a meditation class when I was in high school and I was instantly hooked. I was already highly sensitive to people’s energies and the energies of spaces so meditation and contemplative practice felt so natural. Like taking a deep breath.

Why does creating space for rest and awareness feel important today?

We are constantly bombarded with information. We are expected to be productive and to do do do all the time. Making space for rest and awareness is the antidote to our over-produced, overwhelmed lives. It’s a way to stay sane, and to find your Self again in a culture that by nature of its set-up keeps you from connecting with your Self.

What do you invite participants to experience during your sessions?

I invite participants to experience their own wisdom in my sessions. To start noticing what resonates for them, to tune inside, not out. I invite them to rediscover the intuition that naturally lives in them and find their own answers.

What does “a space to simply be” mean to you?

To me, “a space to simply be” means dropping the masks and the expectations and the doing. Letting go of the gripping and of control. It’s the slow exhale that feels like complete relief.

How do you cultivate moments of presence or rest in your daily life?

I take time to stand in nature, feel soil underfoot, greet the plants and trees, feel the sun on my skin. I have a daily practice, too, that brings me back into connection with what’s happening for me emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally. Journaling, meditation, chanting, breathwork, free movement are some of the tools I’ll tap into. For me, driving and walking in nature are also ways of getting present. I won’t put on a podcast; instead, I’ll just listen and let my mind process my day.
