Integration of Yoga in my daily life has brought me more self awareness in mind, body and soul.
Pat came across yoga in 2009 when she was living in Bangkok, but started her immersion in Iyengar Yoga, when she moved to Poland in 2011. She explores various streams of yoga but strongly believes in the core teachings of Iyengar Yoga, focusing on alignment of body, mind and breath.
I started Yoga as a sport, and fell in love with it. I learn our amazing body through yoga and to be proud of my own body. After few years of learning purely in asanas, I realise our mind and breath will change and I actually can unite my body breath and mind. Slowly, I went into studying pranayama. With the practice of asanas and pranayama, I found that it really helps me in my meditation. Both Yoga and asana bring me to a different state of mind and thinking and this changes at a different stage if life. Yoga and pranayama will be my continuous learning journey, as you will always discover something new about yourself every time.
I believe in sharing what I have learned, especially when I realise how much there is to learn. I hope by sharing my knowledge, my students will practice more mindfully and always be able to appreciate their own effort and not just looking at the outcome.
I am lucky to meet Christina who introduce me to “Space 2B”. The moment I step in, I felt cozy and calm. I like the space and calmness of the space; I felt relax and my mind went into the asanas I can do in the space and the feeling of calmness which will help in my pranayama practice.
`Live simply’ means live a simple life, thankful with what we have and if possible contribute back to the society. We do not need branded things or fame, we just need our pure heart with compassion, kindness and love. Memories will be the one we bring along with us and not the worldly things.
