Private Sessions at SPACE 2B:
Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Manual Therapy, Pre and Post-Natal Massage
Lynsey has been a manual therapist for 12 years and dedicates her practice to supercharging your personal and professional performance goals. Her approach to bodywork is to use her experience and a combination of techniques to tailor the session to you, not just perform a generic treatment.
Lynsey believes “There’s a middle ground between the rehabilitative exercises given to you from a physical therapist, and the soothing yet generic strokes of a traditional massage therapist that feel great, but don’t always get you the results you need. I listen to you. I check your lifestyle, training and posture and work with you to build a treatment that will supercharge your performance.”
She has worked with professional sports men and women, international rugby and football teams, triathletes, Ironmen and women, dancers, runners, weightlifters, tired parents, pregnant women, top business executives, kids… And everyone else in between.
“I’m a ex-dancer, sort of CrossFitter, some time yogi and one time Spartan champion(!) with two full-on and fabulous kids.
“Always full of energy, I work with passion and I love a challenge! So if you don’t know where to start, talk to me about your goals… And let’s make it happen

I am naturally a very fast-paced person & this means I can easily get caught up in thought patterns & behaviors that are counter-productive and sometimes downright destructive because of the resulting stress and anxiety. I practice meditation as a way of slowing down, creating space between my thoughts. It helps me stay calm and massively reduces my natural & behavioral inclination towards stress.
I teach meditation because I see a real need for the kind of stillness and slowing-down that it provides. I see patterns similar to mine in so many other people & I know from experience how much this practice can help. Especially people who are busy with their lives and their jobs – I love getting the chance to help them find space and calm when their world is anything but.
Space 2B is, for me, an exciting opportunity to join a community of facilitators who offer types of meditation and wellness practices to a population of clients who very much need these practices. Wellness practices are increasingly important, and I’m excited to be in a space where this type of work is being done.
Living simply, for me, always comes back to the art of “starting by stopping.” Taking a pause to make a little buffer between oneself and one’s environment gives you the opportunity to listen and distill each moment into what’s really important.
