    Classes taught at SPACE 2B:
Yoga – Yin, Therapy, Pre/Post natal, Vinyasa, Hatha, Breathing Pranayama techniques – Abdominal, Nadi Shodhana, Sound meditation – Tibetan & Alchemy Crystal Bowls

    Background:

Liting chanced upon the yoga practice more than a decade ago which completely transformed her physical and mental well being. She had never looked back since then when she discovered that practising yoga not only releases her work pressure but also re-conditioned her body in terms of better alignment and posture. Her love for music & sound since young had also led her in picking up several musical instruments like Guzhen & Flute. Convinced that yoga, sound & meditation not only can help each individual to become stronger in terms of physical, mental and also emotional aspects, she hopes to inspire students to join her in the journey of mindfulness by the willingness of ‘letting go’ & allowing one-self to have more self-care & self-love.

She believes that each & every one of us has an inner child within, yearning for the understanding & self-discovery. With her cheerful & bubbly persona, she inculcates to students the value of non-judgement and to reflect from a quiet mind, taking one step at a time with a light-hearted approach.

What first drew you to sound therapy, meditation or contemplative practice?

I love music since young & had through years of hustling, began to realise that life is more than just the daily stress & hustle. Through the practice of sound therapy & meditation, it had allowed me to discover a better understanding of my own personality and my true passion of simply “to be”… living in the moment.

Why does creating space for rest and awareness feel important today?

The world is changing so rapidly and with it, daily challenges & pressure which most of us will keep bottled in ourselves which may lead to our body & mind protesting in the form of sicknesses. Creating the safe space & environment for us to rest and reset is learning on how to let go off undue stress which is harmful for our overall health condition and also our nervous system. As more awareness is being felt of our own mental state, we can be in better control of our mood & take charge of our own parasympathetic system better.

What do you invite participants to experience during your sessions?

I wish to share with those seeking inner peace & clarity, the way to cultivate their own calm & balanced mind. Allowing me the chance to help them unveil the true essence and understanding of the true power of meditation, not only through breathe work & sound therapy, to find their own inner peace & tranquility.

What does “a space to simply be” mean to you?

It is the space and environment that I feel safe to be my true self. A place where mindfulness, compassion and wisdom can be developed while managing the challenges of modern life.

How do you cultivate moments of presence or rest in your daily life?

Developing moments of mindfulness. Being fully in presence with not only my action but my thoughts, feelings & emotions through the practice of meditation & sound therapy sessions.
