Awaken Multifaceted Soundscapes with the Gong Crazy Egg
Step into a new dimension of gong play with the Gong Crazy Egg – a uniquely shaped friction mallet designed to expand your sonic possibilities. Unlike conventional gong rubbers, the Crazy Egg features multiple textured surfaces that let you create a wide range of tones, from subtle vibrations to resonant waves. Its irregular shape allows for both delicate and broad contact with your instrument, while the soft rubber compound offers a smooth, responsive feel. Available in bright, vibrant colors, this eye-catching tool is as expressive in look as it is in sound.

Versatile Tones from an Innovative Surface
Crafted from a sustainable rubber compound infused with cornstarch, the Crazy Egg’s head is gently roughened in its final stage to enhance sonic nuance. Its textured form effortlessly produces bright highs, rich mids, and deep lows – and with skilled handling, even otherworldly tones reminiscent of whale song. Let this dynamic gong grinder inspire a whole new layer of expression in your sound practice.

Beautifully Imperfect by Design
Each Crazy Egg is hand-cast and individually finished, resulting in small surface variations that are part of its artisanal charm. These subtle imperfections have no effect on performance – they’re simply a reflection of its handmade nature.

Comfortable, Flexible, and Built to Last
With a 6 mm shatterproof plastic handle, the Crazy Egg offers a secure, comfortable grip for both gentle strokes and more energetic play. It’s designed for flexibility, precision, and confidence – allowing you to stay fully immersed in your sound journey.
