Proper sleep is something we all need. It nourishes our bodies and minds helping us feel well and be on top of our game. All the stress we experience may disrupt healthy sleep patterns, leaving us tired and drained. What do doctors recommend for a better sleep? You must have already heard of the term ‘sleep hygiene’, including things like regular nightly routines, taking a warm shower, reading, and most importantly, no screen time after dusk. But what if your mind still remains active? That’s where Meditation comes to the rescue, calming the body and mind and clearing the ‘in-tray’ of our thoughts.
In this class we will use a step-by-step method to clear the chatter of the mind and lead it into a state of rest and relaxation. The technique we will be using is simple, efficient and perfectly suited for beginners in meditation. Creating our own island of peace and calm in the midst of a busy and chaotic world is what this meditation is about. In this class, we will be clearing the layers of mental chatter and emotional stress to reach a part of us that is sometimes called the observer self. It is in this centre that we can find real peace, calm, stability, and safety that cannot be destroyed by the outer experiences. From this center we can observe our thoughts, emotions and sensations without drowning in them or being disturbed by them.

There is nothing more precious than offering mindful awareness to ourselves, our loved ones, and everyone else we cross paths with. Join Mindfulness Coach Erin in a weekly morning routine of mindfulness practice, and start your day with a more refreshed and balanced state of mind. Receive proper guidance on practicing mindfulness effectively through paying attention to our mind and body in a kind, gentle, and non-judgmental way. Practices will be guided in both stillness and movement, in various postures. The final 10 minutes of class will be dedicated to sharing our practice experiences or clarifying questions about mindfulness.
Please dress in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, and ensure you have a quiet and conducive space for practice, with enough room for gentle stretching movements.

The Heart Of Peacefulness
In this guided meditation we take a moment to quieten the mind and connect with our heart center. It is said that the heart is the source of peace, lovingness, compassion and deep empathy. Whenever we get down from the head to the heart, we look at things from a different perspective. Everything becomes clear and transparent, many problems created by the mind disappear and evaporate.
This meditation doesn’t require any experience or effort. Peaceful and relaxing, it’s a great way to finish your week and ease into an enjoyable weekend.
Stress, anxiety, fear, anger, attachment – Ordinarily we see these states of mind and emotion as negative; things that get in the way of our happiness and wellbeing, and prevent us from achieving the goals and quality of life that we would like. In this class we will use TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) as a self-care method to support our mental, emotional, and physical health and well-being even in the most challenging of times.

You may have already experienced that group-shake adds a different quality to our practice as we come together with stronger intention and self-discipline. It helps us in a deeper exploration of this method and of ourselves.

Yoga Nidra : The Art of Transformational Sleep
Yoga Nidra originates from ancient Tantric practices, and is the science of deep relaxation with inner awareness – where you appear to be asleep, but consciousness is functioning at a very deep level of awareness. As William Blake said, “Imagination is Essence of the Divine.” You have been using imagination all your life, probably unconsciously, but you can now learn how to use it consciously, to guide your tremendous mind power. Since imagination is one of the most important tools used in creating your own reality, imagination in your mind’s eye is an excellent way to imprint your subconscious. Let your subconscious mind help you exercise your imagination.
This superconsciousness part of your mind is connected to Divine Intelligence or Universal Wisdom. It is here that the knowledge and wisdom from above can be tapped into and accessed by the human mind. It is from this part of the mind that we receive intuitive flashes and inspirations. You will discover how to go within, deepen your intuitive channels, and access your inner higher guidance. You will be guided to recognize who you are, to bring out the higher wisdom, love, and nature of the true self that lies within you. You will explore the nature of spiritual power, and how to release ego based power.

Seeking approval? Lack of self worth? Self-judging and judging others? Getting angry and blaming others? In this meditation, we will connect with the childhood instances of being hurt and wounded…you will be finding, helping and nurturing the wounded child from your past.
You are about to use the most powerful tool available for rewiring beliefs, healing emotional wounds and enhancing your self esteem. Many of us become deeply triggered in our lives by unhealed experiences from childhood, instances where our needs were not met, whether it be love, affection, attention or simple validation.
