What You’ll Get
A supported transition from sound practice into facilitation, where presence, embodiment, and real experience begin to take form.
This mentorship bridges the space between learning and real-world application. What has been explored in training begins to settle into the body through direct experience, allowing facilitation to emerge in a way that is grounded, responsive, and attuned.
Sound is approached not only as an instrument, but as a field that interacts with the nervous system. Through this, you begin to understand how sessions can support regulation, deep rest, and a return to balance.
Programme Overview
A 4-week mentorship programme with Yoshie, combining private coaching, guided facilitation, and real session immersion.
12 hours across 4 weeks, supported by ongoing observation, practice, and reflection.
Participants are immersed in a living environment of sound, where learning continues beyond the sessions themselves through direct exposure, felt experience, and integration.
Attention is placed not only on what is done, but on how the body responds, how the nervous system settles, and how presence is held within the space.
This is where practice becomes embodied and lived.
Why This Mentorship
Many practitioners complete their training with knowledge and technique, yet feel uncertain when stepping into facilitation.
Holding space requires something more subtle. It asks for the ability to listen, to sense, and to respond to what is present in the moment. It asks for an understanding of silence, pacing, and the movement of energy within a group.
It also asks for an awareness of the nervous system, both your own and that of the participants, and the ability to support regulation through sound, presence, and pacing.
This mentorship supports that shift.
Rather than focusing on what to perform, the emphasis is on how you hold the space, how you listen, and how you allow a session to unfold. Through this process, facilitation becomes less about control and more about attunement.
You begin to move from playing sound to holding space through sound, where embodiment and presence become the foundation of your facilitation.
What You Will Experience
You step into real session environments where observation, assistance, and guided facilitation unfold naturally.
You begin by observing, developing sensitivity to how a session is held, how sound is introduced, and how participants are guided into states of rest, regulation, and awareness.
You start to notice how sound interacts with the body, how tension softens, and how the nervous system shifts when space is held with care.
From here, you begin to assist, supporting the flow of the session while refining your awareness of timing, transitions, and group dynamics.
Gradually, you begin to guide, starting with short segments and building towards holding longer, more cohesive sound journeys within a supported environment.
Through direct experience and feedback, confidence develops naturally.
You begin to understand not only what to do, but how to be while doing it, allowing your facilitation to emerge from a place of grounded presence rather than effort.
Weekly Structure
Week 1: Awareness & Foundations
You are introduced to how a sound session is truly held, beyond technique and into direct experience.
Attention is placed on listening, not only to sound, but to the space, the body, and the subtle shifts that arise within the group. You begin to notice how sound interacts with the nervous system, and how states of tension, ease, and rest begin to change when space is held with care.
This week establishes a somatic foundation, where awareness begins to settle into the body, and facilitation is understood as something that arises from presence rather than effort.
Week 2: Presence & Confidence
With a foundation of awareness, the focus shifts into your own presence as a facilitator.
You begin to cultivate a grounded and steady state through breath, body awareness, and attention, learning to regulate your own nervous system while holding space for others. From here, confidence begins to emerge naturally, not through performance, but through stability and familiarity within the space.
Through assisting sessions and guiding short segments, you begin to embody facilitation, allowing your actions to be supported by presence rather than driven by thinking.
Week 3: Attunement & Refinement
As your presence stabilises, your sensitivity to others begins to deepen.
You start to sense the group more clearly, noticing shifts in energy, engagement, and nervous system states. Facilitation becomes less about following a plan and more about responding to what is unfolding in the moment.
Attention is given to refining transitions, tone, pacing, and silence, allowing the session to feel more cohesive and fluid. Subtle adjustments begin to create a more regulated and supportive experience for the group.
Week 4: Integration & Facilitation
In the final phase, everything begins to come together.
You step more fully into facilitation, guiding longer segments or complete sessions within a supported environment. Structure, presence, and intuitive response begin to integrate, allowing you to hold space with greater coherence and ease.
Rather than relying on technique alone, you begin to trust your body, your awareness, and your sensitivity to the moment. Facilitation becomes an embodied expression, where sound, presence, and the nervous system are held within a unified field of experience.
Training Modules
Observation & Sensory Awareness
Developing the ability to listen deeply to sound, space, and group dynamics. You begin to perceive subtle shifts in rhythm, pacing, and the collective field of the group, while recognising how these influence the body and nervous system.
Assisting & Space Holding
Supporting live sessions while cultivating a steady and grounded presence. You learn to regulate your own nervous system, allowing you to hold space in a way that feels safe, calm, and supportive for others.
Guided Facilitation Practice
Leading short segments within a supported environment, gradually building confidence in guiding while staying connected to the flow of the session. Emphasis is placed on embodiment, allowing guidance to arise from presence rather than effort.
Feedback & Presence Refinement
Receiving direct feedback on your facilitation, including presence, pacing, sensitivity, and response to the group. This supports refinement at a deeper level, including how you relate to control, timing, and the subtle dynamics of holding space.
Session Design & Energetic Flow
Understanding how to structure a cohesive sound journey from beginning to integration, including opening, build, peak, and resolution. You begin to sense how sound, silence, and pacing can support regulation, release, and restoration within the nervous system.
Who This Is For
This mentorship is designed for those who have completed a sound training and are ready to begin facilitating.
It is suited for practitioners who wish to gain real-world experience, refine their skills, and develop confidence in holding space for others.
It is also for those who feel called to deepen their presence, and to understand facilitation as something that emerges from awareness rather than performance.
Intimate Format
Offered in a one-to-one or two-person format, this mentorship creates the conditions for depth, trust, and focused attention.
Each participant is supported individually, with space for observation, practice, and feedback to unfold at a natural pace.
The format is intentionally kept small to ensure depth, personalised guidance, and a high quality of experience.
Certification
Participants receive a 12hr AYCEP-recognised certification.
Graduates may be considered for invitation into the SPACE2B Residency pathway and future teaching opportunities.
